Faraday’s pre-built integration with HubSpot as a destination allows us to share your Faraday data to your HubSpot account to activate with it.

We can push data such as Faraday Personas and your predictive Outcome, e.g. "High Risk for Churn” scores appended to each of your contacts in HubSpot. We can also push consumer profile data from our Faraday Identity Graph.


Granting access within HubSpot

  1. Log into your HubSpot account from the HubSpot app. If there are multiple accounts, select the account you want us to push to.

  2. Click Settings in the upper-right hand corner.

  3. On the left-hand sidebar, IntegrationsAPI Key

  4. Only one key is allowed per account, you will use this API key to connect Faraday for pushes of new data to your contacts.

Sending credentials securely to Faraday:

Go to the Faraday app’s Destinations console, click + New destination at the top.

  1. Search for HubSpot as a Destination location, enter a descriptive name, and click Next.

  2. Enter your credentials here, and click Next.

  3. Under Finalize, click Create destination. Faraday can now begin the integration process. Once your Account Manager confirms everything is all set up, HubSpot will be available as a destination in Reach, the Faraday tool used for delivering audiences to their destinations!


Receiving data back into HubSpot from Faraday

  1. Data "Deliveries" to HubSpot will automatically update contact properties. When we first push we create a property group called Faraday data, and populate specific data there depending on what fields were decided to be sent in the append.

  2. To find these properties, open a contact profile, and scroll down, the left-hand sidebar, then click View all properties.

  3. Scroll all the way down the resulting page and you should see the Faraday Data section.

  4. If no specific column set was specified for the push (append), all configured fields for your Faraday account will be passed to the contact properties. Faraday recommends specifying only the fields you desire to have created and updated on contact properties.

  5. The Customer lifetime value is a floating-point number.

    • This will appear as "CLV"

  6. The Score is represented as an integer. This the is percentile rank of your contact against all other contacts delivered in an append.

    • This will appear as the name of your Faraday model

    • Example below is named "Churn reduction - monitor" for this Faraday account

  7. The Persona is a constructed name by the Faraday modeling system.

    • This will appear as the name of your Faraday persona set.

    • Example below is internally called "Persona groupings" for this Faraday account

  8. Additional fields (1st party fields from your data or 3rd party FIG fields like age, gender, etc.) will appear with a fdy_ prefix. These may vary in data type.

Final note:

If a particular email did not exist in your HubSpot and Faraday attempted to send it, it will be created as a contact and you will see the following under Activity for that contact:
